Rememberings from Mr Cras:
Q1:Ron:How did you got involved with the Korak comics?
1.I got involved with Korak through my engagements with Williams, a Swedish company established by the Warner film corporation in Hollywood. In 1973 the first 12 of my 124 Western paperback books were published. At the same time I wrote a lot of comic scripts about football, ice-hockey and riding. When I was asked if I wanted to write Korak scripts I accepted immediately. ER Burroughs Tarzan books were big favourites for me when I grew up.

2. I wrote two Korak-stories every fortnight which filled up a complete magazine. Mats Larsson did the same. We never discussed our stories with each other.

Q3:Ron:Did you had any restrictions from ERB Inc. or the publisher?
3. Neither ER Burroughs Inc nor Williams gave me any restrictions. I only used my own imagination. One minor restriction was that I had to learn and use the language Korak used talking to animals.

Q4:Ron: Were there any stories rejected? And if so, why?
4. I cannot remember that any of my stories were rejected. One day it was time for me to leave Korak and go on with other projects. Then I had so many projects running that I didn´t mind.

Q5:Ron: Did you used any personal items in your stories, like names of friends, relatives, local environment, buildings etc. ?
5. I never used any personal items in my Korak stories. Every script was built from an unique personal idea about adventures in the jungle. Naturally I was inspired by different stories, as I constantly read several books a week. But to my knowledge I never stole a single story from somebody else.

Q6:Ron: Until now I haven't any clue who the artist(s) is/are who transformed your script into the visible stories. Do you have any idea?
6. I believe that most of the art work was done in Spanish art-studios.

Q7:Ron: Did you work in a team on the stories or did do this all by your self?
7. I have almost always worked alone. With comic scripts, as well as writing books, articles or short stories. Only during periods as a ghostwriter did I cooperate with the people I was writing about
